Description: NavCad is a program for a complete parametric analysis of the propulsion and propulsion qualities of a vessel. NavCad's calculations go much further than blindly applying individual formulas; they allow the designer to fully simulate and analyze the state of equilibrium of the body - engine - propulsion - water system at different operating modes. The analyzed system includes the hull, protruding parts, propeller and engine (i.e. resistance, power, thrust and torque), as well as various “non-ship” effects (waves, wind, shallow water effects, towing/pushing mode, etc.). d.).
PropCad is a software for geometric modeling of propellers. It provides tools for automatic preparation of 2D drawings, 3D viewing, construction data, calculation of geometric properties and CAD/CAM file export.
PropExpert is an excellent software tool for selecting and analyzing the operation of the propulsion system of yachts, boats, tugs, fishing and patrol vessels. This program was developed specifically for the market of engine and propeller manufacturers and suppliers.
PropExpert is based on NavCad's advanced technologies, but compared to NavCad it is much easier to learn and use. In PropExpert you can start working with only general information about the vessel. At the same time, the functionality of the program remained at the same level, including unique “expert functions” that help the user choose the right screw. Thanks to its powerful calculation and analysis functions, PropExpert has gained worldwide recognition in the field of selection of engines, gearboxes and propellers.
