LimitsYou can use NetLimiter 2 to setdownload or upload transfer rate limits for applications, connectionsor groups of them. With limits you can easily manage your internetconnection�s bandwidth (bandwidth shaper) and share it among allapplications running on your computer.GrantsGrantis a brand-new feature in NetLimiter 2. It could seem similar tolimits, but it works differently. When you set grant for application orconnection, then it means that you grant specified bandwidth for it. Ifother application/connections take too much bandwidth, then it is takenfrom them and is given to application/connection with granted bandwidth.Network monitorNetLimiter 2 shows list of all applications communicating over network it's connections and transfer rates.Personal firewall functionalityYou can allow or deny certain applications to connect to or from any network or zone (see below).ZonesNetLimiter2 monitors and controls traffic separately on three predefined zones -My Computer, Local Network and Internet. Dear NetLimiter 2 users,
This release is mainly about Vista compatibility. All versions - Pro,Lite and Monitor are now compatible with new Windows Vista. Beside thisfeature brings version 2.0.10 several bugfixes and client program wastranslated to several new languages.
Important note: Due to administrative problems on 64bit Windows Vista,we are able to release only 32bit versions of NetLimiter 2. NetLimiter2 is fully compatible with all 64bit Windows systems, but we have todelay its release for this platform until these problems will besolved. The 64bit NetLimiter 2 version 2.0.10 is planned to be releasedin May 2007.
