Windows Open 7 Activator
Windows Open 7 Activator 1.0.9 by Nononsence + HotCarl (x86-x64) -- 5.08MB
Hello everyone, I noticed that Nononsence released an open source loader encoded in VB a little while back, so I thought I would mess around with it... I noticed omdhar's mod of Open 7 act*vator, so I thought I would give it a "stab" since it has been a long time since I have "coded" anything in visual basic, and I wanted a refresher of sorts more than anything.
So, I basically took Nononsence's Open 7 act*vator release, modified it, and added to it what I thought it was lacking. I think that the program is much more polished and complete now. I added many additional features (some of which were suggestions from users like the OEM information & SLIC detection) that I thought would be handy for this type of tool, to make it more complete (like product key checking, activation backup & restore, the ability to re-check activation with the click of a button, OEM branding, SLIC detection, the ability to set a system restore point whenever by just clicking a link, and other features & information displayed that would be helpful to the end user).
As it is my wish to give the user as many options as possible, in adhering with that goal, this program contains every leaked Windows 7 OEM SLP key (even the duplicates ones like the two Asus & the two Toshiba SLP keys available for Windows 7 Home Premium) available as of the release date of the most current version of this program.
In addition, there is full help documentation included with pictures for the mentally impaired (like myself), just click the "Help" button.
NOTE: I built the help file out of html since my original plan to use a .rtf file and a rich text box to output the text and images resulted in a ~25MB .rtf file... So the end result is that I used a web control to display the help file contents to save me file size while still being able to show the help document in real time with a button-click and no 3rd party programs. A side-effect of this, however, is when using a web control to read the html help file, Windows must access the COM interface... No data is transmitted or sent anywhere, and you can verify this yourself. If it really bothers people, I guess I can just put the help document into a .pdf file and remove the Help button...)
Changes in 1.0.9:
---Added all new SLP keys.
---Made Product Key Checker more user friendly, added button to grab the currently installed Product Key. (the default key in the key checker textbox is now which ever key you have selected in the main O7A window (with the Product Key listbox), so you can easily verify the validity and see if the key is genuine on your system before installing it.)
---Cleaned up code & minor bug fixes.
---Updated help documentation.
