Twister is a complete paint , graphics content creation, and I/O solution for Broadcasters. Twister runs as a standalone application, or as a plug-in for industry-leading content creation, editing, management and display systems.
With Twister, artists will now have access to VDS' famous content creation tools and file transfer utilities right from within a single user environment. This includes a full suite of comprehensive paint tools and brushes, unlimited layering capabilities, and sophisticated image processing and masking tools developed specifically for Broadcasters. In addition, most Photoshop plug-ins may be run from within Twister, allowing access to hundreds of inexpensive image effect libraries currently available. All in all, Twister will bring unprecedented content creation capability to any graphics facility.
Twister provides the ability to work quickly and directly with industry products, eliminating file format conversion and aspect issues generally associated with many PC graphics applications. Twister is also very template driven, reducing creation time by reusing layer formats and other graphic elements and presets.

Twister is available as a standalone graphics design application on WindowsNT/2K/XP and has a developers toolkit available for those interested in incorporating Twister's paint and content creation tools as a plug-in within their Windows applications. Twister also runs standalone, or as a plug-in on Chyron hardware platforms such as Duet LE/SD/LEX, or with Lyric "software versions," as well as on Pinnacle's Thunder and Lightning systems.
Work At Any Resolution
Twister can operate in any resolution and is available with real-time paint I/O in a variety of SD and HD formats. This includes the ability to "grab on the fly" and real-time view your work in progress on an SD or HD monitor.
