BUW EFX EVX 6.0


This solution supports the efficient design of injection mold tools and is and ideal addition to Pro/MOLDESIGN. While Pro/MOLDESIGN concentrates on the design of core and cavity EMX / B&W Spritzguss takes care for a extremely efficient design of the entire moldbase including typical functional units like ejector pins, screw connections, cooling etc. By this the design time for mold tools can be reduced dramatically. The solution is distributed by our partner PTC as Expert Moldbase Extension EMX and by our partners INNEO, TECHSOFT und Rand Schweiz as B&W Spritzguss.​

EMX / B&W Spritzguss offers the following functionality:​

* Definition and modification of the entire moldbase in a graphic 2D user interface
* Efficient creation of screw and dowel pin connections
* Definition and assembly of ejector pins as complet functional unit
* Placement of cooling bores with nipples and seal plugs in one step
* Modeling of complete slider units inclusive screw connections
* Graphically supported configuration and placement of latch locks
* Realistc simulation of mold opening
* Holechart functionality of B&W Holechart
* Library functionality for managing and assmebling custom standard components
* Library with hotrunners
* Predefined drawings and BOMs​

BUW Progressive Die Extension 5.0


This solution supports the efficient design of progressive die tools from strip layout to tool layout, assembling of standard library components up to creation of drawings and BOMs. It is distributed by our partner PTC as Progressive Die Extension PDX and by our partners INNEO, TECHSOFT and Rand Switzerland as B&W Folgeverbund.​

PDX / B&W Folgeverbund offers the following functionality:​

* Definition and modification of strip layout in a 2D graphic user interface
* Definition and modification of toolbase in a 2D graphic user interface
* Efficient creation of screw and dowel pin connections
* Definition and placement of cut stamps as complete functional unit inclusive neccessary cuts
* Definition and placement of bend and forming stamps as complete functional unit inclusive neccessary cuts
* Definition and placement of guiding elements as complete functional unit inclusive neccessary cuts
* Definition and placement of other standard components as complete functional unit inclusive neccessary cuts

BUW SmartAnalysis 5.0


SmartAnalysis was developed to support designers that have to run many different Pro/ENGINEER analysis functions all day long.Using one unique GUI all Pro/ENGINNER analysis functions can easily be accessed.​

These functions are included​

* Fast selection of the geometrie to be evaluated
* Automatic output of all possible results depending on the type of selected references
* The Projection reference Csys can be predefined via Featurename
* Save all measurements results in a history tree for later access
* Exact determination of the models bounding box​

BUW SmartAssembly 5.0


SmartAssembly provides its own script language to define complex Pro/ENGINEER-Templates using components, UDF's and any available Features. Dimensions, Parameters and References can be defined in a flexibel table-structure that will also drive the dynamic GUI to assemble these SmartAssembly​

BUW SmartHolechart 6.0


SmartHolechart enables you to output hole information in Pro/ENGINEER models to drawing tables or ASCII-files. Unlike other holechart programms for Pro/ENGINEER the recognition of holes in SmartHolechart is not based on recognition of feature types or UDFs but on a geometry based feature recognition.​

You can define your own bore types with the basic elements cylinder, cone (chamfer), radius and thread.
Guided by a graphic editor you can define the table formats, the dimensions to show and their format as well as sorting criterias for the tables.
You get a table on the drawing and notes to mark the holes in the drawing. Optional for each direction you get an ASCII-file with the hole information and a special output format for further usage of the hole information in manufacturing process.​

Advantages of SmartHolechart are:​

* Recognition of all rotation symmetric geometry elements
* Graphic interactive definition of hole types
* Free definition of output parameters and dimensions
* Graphic interactive configuration of output format

BUW SmartCorebox 5.0


The CAD-system Pro/ENGINEER is used very successfully for product development by a lot of companies. Company or product specific tasks or processes sometimes are not fully supported by Pro/ENGINEER as its concept is very general. By developing your company or product specific add software on we can significantly increase the efficiency of your Pro/ENGINEER use. These software add ons are developed with Pro/TOOLKIT, Pro/INTRALINK-TOOLKIT and common program languages like Visual C++, Java, TCL-TK etc.​

BUW SmartXhatch 5.0


This small application will help you to save a lot of time: Whenever components have been modified (i.e. disassembled and assembled) in an assembly, their xhatching-information on the assembly-drawing gets lost. With SmartXhatch this information can be defined as rules based on modelnames or parameters. This allow you an easy update of proper xhatches with a simple pick!​

BUW SmartOptics 5.0


With SmartOptics you can simulate the optical pathes directly in the Pro/ENGINEER assembly modus. Define the properties of the parts or surfaces (i.e. refraction index, mirror property) in a user friendly graphical user interface. By a simply mouseclick SmartOptics computes the resulting optical pathes and show them directly in the Pro/ENGINEER graphic window. This functionality is not restricted to simple geometrical base elements, so even the optical behaviour of parts/lenses with free-form surfaces can be calculated.​

The following optical properties are considered:​

* reflection
* refraction
* total reflectance
* diffused light
* lost of intensity​

The resulting optical path can be displayed in different ways:​

* graphically in the Pro/ENGINEER window
* as datum curves
* hit points on end surfaces as datum points
* output in textfiles​

Typical applications for SmartOptics are:​

* construction of optical components like lenses and mirrors
* determination of discontinuities in optical assemblies
* inspection of the field of vision
* calculation/visiualization of luminosity​

BUW SmartMenu 5.0


SmartMenu will speed up the usage of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0. Smart Menu 5.0 allows the user to access 'Edit'-features permanently, even without a valid selection ,find the functions in a workflow oriented structure.​

Smart Menu 5.0 allows the system administrators to​

* create own RMB Popup menus, pull-down menus and submenus
* distribute Smart Menu independent from user specific config.win-files
* configure Smart Menu within a comfortable graphical user interface
* add a one- line help for every configured menu
* create menus in two languages parallel (i.e German, English)​

BUW SmartLibrary 6.0


SmartLibrary is an auxillary application to Pro/ENGINEER. It offers compfortable and easy to use functions to assemble and administrate library components, to assemble complete screw and dowel pin connections and to support BOM creation.​

SmartLibrary offers easy to use functionality to assemble library components in the current design. The library component can be selected and configured easily by a graphic user interface. Then the user just needs to select the assembly references, the component references can be predefined. All necessary cuts can be created by predefined quilts in the component. Functions for assembling, redefining and deleting library components are available. The integration of custom standard components in the library is done by a easy to use graphic user interface.​
