Touch my heart
You touch my heart each and every day
You bring a smile to my face with all you do and say
It feels so great just being with you

You've touched my heart, my thoughts, & dreams too
You've changed my life and everything is new
I see through your eyes a sky that's so blue
I let you into my heart… I laugh, I cry
I'll stand by you and never question why

The reading of your words quickens my heart
It stirs feeling's, deep within
Through out the day my thought's turn to you
I miss you too. You've made me so happy
I couldn't ask for more
You've filled that empty space

My sweetest one, now I call on you
I have never loved as I love you.
If you cannot give your heart to me
I will still - and ever - love thee.

My mind is weary, as the sunflower
I am thinking about you every hour,
not a second goes by; I know not why
unless I am dancing with you.

O, answer me and say you care!
my darling one, thou art so fair,
with radiant beauty that captures
my heart and grace from within
that lights every star.

I long to hear you singing again
pretty words of love in gentle refrain,
just a a word from you, on paper of blue,
will tell me if the greatest love is true

Do not love me yet, for I
Am still a slender moon,
A scimitar about the heart
Too sharp to touch too soon.
Before I'm touched I need to grow
More full in golden light;
I need to smile upon my earth
And rule some patch of night.
I need to know what roads and fields
Lie in my domain
And dull my brand new ecstasies
With sophomoric pain.
I need the love of some blank boy
As cold and dark as me,
That we might grope in ignorance
And fear of what might be.
And then when I'm a silver bowl
And know what I can hold,
Then, then, perhaps, we could try love
If you are not too old.

I look in your eyes
And I don't know what I see
Are they butterflies
Can they see into me

Can they read my thoughts
Are they in my dreams
Do they know who Ive fought
Do I chose a team

I don't understand
Whats going on
They land on my hand
And they weigh a ton

Theres so many of them now
They flutter around my head
Then I wonder How
Do they know what I have said

I told you how I felt
I told you what I want
I'm beginning to melt
By the way you taunt.

You say you care
But when I need you
Are you there
I need love, too

It goes both ways,
I love you,
For all the days,
Thats nothing new,

So tell me,
Why are there so many of them
What do they need
What do I do to get rid of them

I'm so confused now,
I don't know what to do,
So please tell me how,
to get through to you,

To tell you,
I need love,
This is true,
Like a dove

I love the way you look at me,
the way you make me smile.
I love the way you tell me things and make my world worth while.
I love the way your perfect face enlightens in the sun.
I love the way you stare at me and tell me i'm the one.
I love the way your quiet voice whispers out my name,
and when your soft lips touch mine it makes me go insane.
